The Carlisle Bike Fest has been crafted with all motorcyclists in mind. This weekend-long event draws from the V-twin, chopper, foreign, domestic and custom markets. The entertainment, vendors and activities draw thousands of bikers to the Fairgrounds for this show.

Sundays are for Revivals and Sunday at the Carlisle Bike Fest is no different. This show is for fans of Form Follows Function and is all about your ride your way forget the bling. Sunday’s Ride In show is open to Cars and Bikes. Nate Myers and the Aces will be joining us for the Revival!

    If you are a rider or fan of Naked Sport Bikes also known as StreetFighters or Custom Fighters, Carlisle is a must attend in 2008! The Carlisle Fighter Fest sponsored by Karns Performance not only welcomes Streetfighters to the fields at Carlisle Bike Fest, but invites you to be a part of the Ride In Fighter Fest Bike Show on Saturday July 26, 2008.     Bike Fest features a "Ride-in Bike Show" on the Saturday of the event with over 25 classes. More Sport Bike Classes added for this year. Visit our Registration pages for more information. The Mid-Atlantic Custom Builder shows at Carlisle features some of the best builders in the Mid-Atlantic. Many of them are vendors at the Carlisle Bike Fest. Be sure to see these show on your visit to Carlisle.

        Tricked Out Custom Cycles

        Steve Kehler - Steve Kehler of Tricked Out Custom cycles has been setting the standard for custom sport bikes over 20 years. Everyone has heard the phrase, "TRICKED OUT" being used all over, because they started it. Steve Kehler and TOCC’s work has been featured on Metric Revolution, 2 Wheel Tuner and anywhere you find custom sport bikes.

        Nationally Known for The Nehme'sis

        Sam Nehme – Sam gained national attention with his Metric Revolution winning motorcycle, “The Nehme'sis”. In addition to being one of the premier metric builders in the country, he is owner of Broward Motorsports / BMS Choppers. Broward Motorsports and been in business for over 20 years. Sam will be showing some of his latest work in Metric Customs and asked his friends from Yamaha to bring a few demos along as well.

        The Wrench visits Carlisle

        Brad was hoping to join us in 2007, but plans were revised to include a visit from Brad this year. He was featured last year on Metric Revolution and a host of other shows such as Two Guys Garage, Born to Ride TV, Broken Spoke Films, Corbin’s Ride On and American Thunder. Brad will be presenting some of his work here at Carlisle this year and will be joining for a Round table or Q&A session.

        Host of Two Guys Garage

        Bryan Fuller of Fuller Hot Rods will be joining this year from Atlanta, Georgia. Bryan has been featured on Discovery Channels Biker Build Off and is currently a host of the show, Two Guys Garage. Bryan could come to any Carlisle event and fit right in, but we are pleased to see him be a part of the Carlisle Bike Fest for his 2 Wheel work.

        Sara Liberte of RT’s North Hills Cycle and Jody Perewitz of Perewitz Cycle Fab

        Sara Liberte of RT’s North Hills Cycle and Jody Perewitz of Perewitz Cycle Fab have been seen at Carlisle for some time. They’re coming back this year with something new and special. The growing needs of women who are seeking information about motorcycles and their maintenance is fast growing along with the number of riders in general. Garage-Girls.com was introduced by Jody and Sara this year to provide safe and accurate information regarding motorcycles and their maintenance as well as all the other things offering balance in life. These two ladies will be hosting a seminar and be featured on roundtable talks at the event.           Star Motorcycles will be on site during Bike Fest

          Star Motorcycles will be on site during Bike Fest to provide you the opportunity to demo their latest models. Come to Carlisle ready to ride. A valid motorcycle license, helmet, long pants, shirt with sleeves and enclosed shoes are required. Friday and Saturday 9am – 5pm, Sunday 9am – 3pm. Sign up early!

          RUN THE RIG at Carlisle!

          Teresi Dyno-Drags takes "interactive" to a new level. Go head-to-head with your pals on your own bikes! Twin motorcycle dynos, Christmas tree starting lights and a computerized timing system, will give you the opportunity to test your racing skills and go home with bragging rights! Once "staged," riders look down a simulated track, complete with an electronic scoreboard displaying top speed and elapsed time for each lane. You'll go head to head through the simulated 1/4-mile stretch. Since each Run is a dyno pull, Teresi Dyno-Drags will provide you the proof on paper to remind your friends later.

            Feel the difference therapy is on the way for your motorcycles. Dr. Dyno will be making a house call at Carlisle. Dr. Dyno tests all motorcycles, from Panheads to V-Rods and Sport Bikes, strictly within the owner's constraints.

            Eextreme Motorcycle Racing and Cheating Death Stunts

            The Rhett Rotten Wall of Death is an extreme act of motorcycle racing and cheating death stunts. They call it, "the world's steepest racecourse," and that's exactly what it is. Rhett "Rotten" Giordano will be racing with life on the side of his 1941 board track. Go-karts, a 1957 Harley Hummer, and his 1927 Indian Scout are a few of the weapons in his arsenal.                   Charity Bike Builders sharing the passion

                  Vicious Cycles will be assembling an antique style Harley Davidson motorcycle with a side car on the stage of the Carlisle Bike Fest. This is a classic motorcycle with modern technology and reliability using a 1200cc Harley Davidson Sportster motor with an aftermarket antique chassis with a fiberglass side car. BK Rodz of Middletown, PA contributed the paint and many recognizable names such as Arlen Ness and others contributed parts. This bike will be auctioned in October 2008 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Fall Carlisle Auction, October 3-4, 2008. 100% of the bikes proceeds will benefit two breast cancer organizations: the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Organization and the Tricia Luxenburg Memorial Scholarship.

                  Charity Bike Builders sharing the passion

                  After the Massacre at VA Tech, Homer from Milwaukee Iron 2 went on a quest to find the best of the best of parts and an all star cast of contributors to include Roland Sands, Baker Drivetrain, Mean Street, Tech Cycle, Headwinds, Ekcraft, Dirty South Choppers, Milwaukee Iron Inc., Johnny Longo Seats, Joker Machine, Custom Climax Controls and more to help with this project. The final outcome is a spectacular custom motorcycle that goes on the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Las Vegas this October . All the proceeds will go to Scholarship funds honoring students lost in the Virginia Tech massacre. Milwaukee Iron 2, to include Homer, his wife Debora, Larry, and their Min Pin, Chopper will be at Carlisle this weekend with the Virginia Tech Memorial Motorcycle.

The Antique Motorcycle Club of America revealed their new exhibition of 30-40 vintage motorcycles at the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA.                   Charity Bike Builders sharing the passion

                  Custom Fighters, Streetfighter Motorcycle Forum sponsors and members will be unveiling their charity build at the Carlisle Fighter Fest. Members of CustomFighters.com banded together to build a streetfighter for charity. Their bike will be unveiled at the Carlisle Bike Fest. This bike will be auctioned for Charity with all the money received being donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital & National Motorcycle Safety Fund.

                  PA Lawn Mower Racing Association (PALMRA) Will Hold a Sanctioned Event

                  Lawn Mower Racing will also make its Bike Fest Debut and the second in a series of 3 events at Carlisle. The PA Lawn Mower Racing Association (PALMRA) will hold a sanctioned event on Sunday, July 27. This is open to all mowers from stock to highly modified to compete in nine different classes. Not a member of a racing association, no problem, the PALMRA can get you set up with everything you need at the show. And if you’ve always wanted to build a mower but didn’t know where to start, come to the Build Clinic Seminar on Saturday to see what goes into these machines. Anyone that wishes to participate should see www.letsmow.com to view the Rule Book. No Mower Blades, class structures and the like.

                  BIG SMOKEY EATING CONTEST

                  The first ever BIG SMOKEY eating contest will take place on Saturday at 1pm at the main stage. Carter’s Concessions, owner and operators of some of Central PA’s best dining establishments and the folks that offer the BIG SMOKEY at all of Carlisle Events is please to present this new event. Over $500 in cash and prizes are being presented by Carter Concessions properties and friends such as Vicious Cycles, Carlisle Events, The Gingerbread Man and more. Over $500.00 in cash and prizes will go to the winner. This is sure to be an exciting display of the pure mental toughness and athleticism of competitive eaters. If you have the stomach and the appetite, be sure to enter the 2008 Carter Concessions Big Smokey eating contest! Contestants can sign-up at the Guest Services Office next to the stage. Seats are limited, so register early!

                  Field Games - NEW for 2008
                  Test Your Skills and Balance - Saturday Only

                  We are pleased to announce the introduction of Field Games to the Carlisle Bike Fest, Saturday only. Sign up is from 12 -1 with competitions beginning after 1pm. Events include the Slow Race -1Up, Slow Race -2 Up, the Ball Drop, Can Pick and Plank Ride. Registration fee is $5 per event, $20 for all five. Test your skills and balance, show the Trials riders at Carlisle what you can do on a street bike. Medals will be awarded for top riders. Your registration fees will be used to benefit our heroes at the Lebanon VA Medical Facilities.

                    The Carlisle shows are always exciting and for the 2008 season we’re turning up the heat with the Activities Corner! Try your rodeo skills on a Mechanical Bull. The Mechanical Bull will be located next to the Guest Services booth near the stage.
