Carter’s Concession’s is pleased to once again present the Big Smokey
The Big Smokey eating contest is back for 2009! Carter’s Concessions, friends and partners are pleased to bring the Big Smokey to Carlisle bikers and invite you to bring on your best eaters.
The Big Smokey has been a Carlisle Fairgrounds staple for 30 years, brought to you buy Carter’s Concessions and their families of restaurants in Central PA. They are offering the winner of this contest a $500.00 cash prize, a case of Big Smokey’s and a few other miscellaneous prizes. Seats are limited, so register early at our Guest Services trailer near the stage!

Go for the gold in Field Game competition at the Carlisle Bike Fest! Slow Run, Plank Ride and Barrel Roll are just a few of the competitions. Registration is Saturday from 12-1 with competitions following. Medals will be awarded for place takers.

A Balance of Body and Machine
The Garage Girls will be back at Bike Fest this year hosting the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover and participating builder roundtables and Q&A sessions. Laura Klock will be joining Sara Liberte and Jody Perewitz to meet with fans and share her awesome stories and experience in breaking land speed records and helping to run a successful custom bike shop and design team.

Extreme Home Makeover meets Trick My Truck and Pimp My Ride at the Carlisle Bike Fest this summer as the ladies of custom motorcycles, the Garage-Girls featuring Sara Liberte and Jody Perewitz and the sponsors of the Carlisle Bike Fest offer two lucky riders the opportunity for a rider and motorcycle makeover.

The Garage-Girls will be accepting submission until May 15th, 2009. Kids at Carlisle features fun activities that parents and kids can enjoy together. Craft activities, indoor play and outdoor play areas and more. Hours: Saturday, 10am-4pm.
Don’t miss the Carlisle Cuties Contest: Babies and Toddlers, up to age 3. Tots dress to impress in Biker and/or Carlisle apparel! Meet at the back of the stage on Saturday at 4:30 pm. Cuties will be introduced to the audience at the grandstand. Photo-ops with Mandy the Mechanic and Motorhead Max, the Carlisle Mascots. All participants receive a small toy. The cutie with the best outfit (selected by staff) receives a US Savings Bond.
